Short scenic hike on a spur trail to the Superior Hiking Trail.
The small view this western valley offers in the distance is a nice
spot for a cache. Watching the sunset from here this evening was
great! I hope you enjoy this area, the leaves changing now, and the
small view that it offers out and over a vast valley beyond. Cache
contains log book, and some nice swag for trade. For the FTF is One
dollar in quarters. Cache concealment is a round folded piece of
birch bark, that dosent need to be moved. Its wedged between some
trees and sticks, to keep it in place. Just what is on top can be
moved only please. Made to blend in well, no need to be grabbing
and pulling stuff. Please be careful, and replace all as it was
found. Dont forget to bring a camera, and a pen to sign the log.
Can start the hike on the spur trail located on Skyline off of
Glenwood Ave. Suggested parking is N46*50.617 W092*02.379 Thanks
Laker2 for the update! When this section is blocked off from
Dec.1st through May 1st. it isnt a long walk to the start of the
trails here. Folks do it all the time. Enjoy!
