This is a two-stage multicache located within Palmetto Islands County Park (PICP). PICP is a nature-oriented park designed for family and group use. This is a great park for kids and dogs so bring them along and check out all the attractions (www.ccprc.com). Park opens at 9:00 and closing depends on time of year. Admission is $1.00 per person.
The final cache is an ammo can located about 50' off the trail. Be sure to DEET up or be prepared for a slap-happy good time. Be sure to widen your search area if need be because tree cover is heavy. Also note that after very heavy rain or during lunar high tide, trails leading to stage 2 may become very muddy or require wading.
