Saintfield Demesne is large area of parkland which forms an attractive backdrop and strong landscape setting to Saintfield.
Cache Description:
Tupperware container containing several small items + Log Book + Pencil. Wrapped in black plastic.
Cache Location:
The cache is hidden is an easily accessible public area of the wood, and is located about a 5 minute walk from the bottom of the Old Cart Road.
The Old Cart Road is used for access to dwellings and is one-car-wide so please use the area of grass to park your car and walk to the cache area to prevent blocking the road.
Walk the full way of the Old Cart Road until you reach the private dwelling at the very end. Opposite the driveway of the dwelling is a man made rectangular gap in the dry stone wall about 18 inches wide. Walk through and go down the slope to the river.
