This is an area that I have been around for a long time, but I am just now investigating.
This cache is located right at the lake. Another golden cache, near the lake here in the park. This area is open from sunrise to sunset. This is a great place to spend the day fishing in the shade.
The cache is within 85' of the lake, placed under pine straw. It is a lock-n-lock container painted terra cotta red. Please make sure that the container is securely closed. There are several good exchange items.
I suggest you use the foot path along the edge of the lake. Have fun and keep on hunting.
