On Beaver Pond Traditional Cache

A short walk to a scenic and peaceful spot.
After hiking these trails for several years I just recently stumbled across this lovely spot, a place where one can rest and reflect. Now one can find a geocache there as well.
It's a short walk from Chickadee Trailhead to Beaver Pond. Parking at Chickadee TH is free, as is summer hiking here, but during the winter ski season a MVSPA Ski Pass is required to go on the trails. The replacement cache of 5-20-13 is no longer on the ground and might possibly be accessible in the winter, though not easily.
The original was an ammo can filled with goodies, but as a micro now it only holds a very few trinkets, a log and a pen. It's in a screw top camoed container.
