Snake Bottom Traditional Cache

You will need a canoe, kayak or other small boat to retrieve this cache. This cache has an approved permit filled with the Proud Lake Recreation Area office.

This cache is placed at the Proud Lake Recreation Area. A small watercraft will be needed to find this cache. For more info check out Proud Lake Recreation Area web site for more info. A daily or annual vehicle permit is require to enter.

Don't let the name of this cache scare you away. I did not see any snakes at the cache site during any time I visited the area. The name comes from the aquatic plants that were growing on the bottom of the lake bed near the cache.
