Bike Path Xing Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Dolly Duo: I'm sorry to do this but I'm going to archive this one. It was the first cache we placed ourselves. I had just replaced this one after someone vandalized it last month and now it is gone. Someone doesn't like this one. Can't see why as it is not near anyone's property. But, I will not replace it and risk having it vandalized again. [:(]

Geocache Description:

Cache is off the East Bay Bike Path in Bristol, near mileage marker 12 South. The entry path is clear, followed by an area of some downed branches. The site is very close to the bike path, which carries a fair bit of traffic, especially on weekends. However, there is good brush coverage from any mugglers, bikers and walkers as long as you are quiet and do not make a lot of noise.

The cache is a 5x7 clear plastic sealable container containing: log book & pencil, 2007 Montana Quarter, purple key chain, seahorse foam stamp, dinosaur, Santa Claus & Rudolph wood faces, hammerhead shark. The cache site is very close to a Shoreline Public Right Of Way (SPROW). Take the ROW path to the water for a nice view of Upper Narragansett Bay and the Warren River. This path can get a little damp after some heavy rain.
