You are looking for a small cache in the Blackstrap Hill Preserve.
Parking coords listed below. One of my favorite, now archived,
caches was here. (There is also a 101 puppy close by...) This area
has quite a few trails and I thought it could support several more
caches.
Please do remember when it is hunting season, so wear your
blaze orange and be careful!
There is plenty of trail to choose from, just make sure you are
more than 500 feet from the previous caches. There is a trail map
and info at the kiosk at the trailhead. Of course, if you find one
of the caches you can go back to find the others, but please only
hide one. If you do not want to hide a cache, please feel free to
log and list whether you hid one or not. The larger containers have
a few goodies in them, but you may want to bring more to add. They
all have a logbook and pen, except for the micro which just has a
log. Depending on the time of year, the trails can be quite muddy,
so wear appropriate footwear. Have fun, be careful, and Happy
Cachin'!
