Geocache Description:

The Cloquet Travel Bug Hotel is open. You can stop and drop, swap or cop a travel bug.

Cloquet needs a good TB Hotel. So I'm building one. I have placed a 5 cup Tupperware 'Hotel' a short and easy walk from a parking area. You will find it near the St. Louis River on Hwy 33.

This hotel has the traditional 'Ammo Box' style.

My barber tells that his father operated an Ice House near this cache. He harvested ice from the river in the winter and delivered it to homes in Cloquet during the summer. The end of the Second World War and mass production of mechanical 'Ice Boxes' put him out of business.

The Minnesota dialect has shifted here. Today ice house usually means a shack on the ice one fishes from in the winter. Fifty years ago it meant primarily a shack in which one stored ice, insulated against the summer heat by wood chips for summer use.

So in your log answer this. Can you claim as can I: 1. Had an man deliver ice to my home; 2. Harvested ice from a lake for storage and use during the summer?

I've placed a First to Find and Second to Find and Third to Find reward. To claim it you should drop a Travel Bug - so you may need to make a stop on the way?

Enjoy
