White Chuck Overlook is a small picnic area located
along the Mt. Loop Scenic Byway 12 miles SE of
Darrington.
We've been here before, many years ago, and enjoyed ourselves very
much so when we happened by this little viewpoint a couple days ago
we were surprised to note there wasn't a cache here. There is
now.
While doing a little research on the location we found that this
place is listed as handicap accessible which by the USFS definition
means that "based on criteria within the Americans with
Disabilities Act Accessibility Guidelines (ADAAG). Facility is
connected with barrier-free-route-of-travel from an accessible
parking area. Due to topography and the primitive nature of some
sites, these routes may not be accessible to all with
disabilities."

Although we are both able bodied we cannot be sure this cache 100%
accessible to everyone, but we were careful and tried to hide the
cache accordingly. You are looking for an ammo can.
