Autumn has come and with it chilly weather and shorter days. As
children look forward to "Trick or Treat" why not treat yourself to
an evening with caching friends, some warm cider and some sweet
treats? This event will take place at the humble abode of my wife
and I. If you're not already out causing mischief or collecting
sweets feel free to stop in your best Halloween duds between the
hours of 7:00PM and 10:00PM to hang out with some friends,
warm up with some hot cider, and discuss your winter caching plans!
Maybe there will even be a few caching games to be played...
To attend this event, your first frightening step is to
post a "Will attend," even if you're remotely interested in
stopping by, this way I'll have a number to expect. (Do not
go to the posted coordinates as will you see no event there, that
is the parking lot for the neighborhood park; check the waypoint
below for the actual location.) After you post your note, a
ghostly email will eerily provide you directions as
well as places to park. (My wife and I have but two spots for
visitors but there are additional spaces just a short walk from the
house.)
This event is open (and FREE) to anyone with an interest in
Geocaching. If you are new to Geocaching or the area, this is a
great opportunity to meet other cachers. Come on out and join the
fun, share stories, swap bugs, compare Halloween costumes and meet
other cachers! For the brave ones foolhardy enough to stop by there
may be some tricks for the unwary and treats waiting for those who
survive. Mwahahaha!
