The cache is in a newly developed park overlooking the Snoqualmie
Valley and Mount Si. The walk to the cache is an easy one with a
short, slightly brushy downhill section on the final approach.
Snoqualmie Point View Park is located on the land that used to be
the Snoqualmie Winery and offers sweeping views of the Snoqualmie
Valley including Mount Si, Mailbox Peak, McClellan Butte, Mount
Washington, and Rattlesnake Mountain. The new facilities and
trailhead to the Rattlesnake Mountain trail are the result of a
partnership between the City of Snoqualmie, DNR, the Greenway
Trust, the Snoqualmie Tribe, USFS, and volunteers. There are picnic
tables, trails, and other nearby geocaches. To get there, take I-90
east to exit 27 and turn right at the stop sign. Follow the road to
the end and go through the gate to enter the parking area for the
trailhead. The park is open from 8am to 7:30pm.
