Geocache Description:

On the spectacular Musical Bumps trail from the top of Whistler Mountain to Singing Pass. Other caches hidden along this trail include Whistler Peak, Burnt Stew, High Note East and High Note West. Try to get them all.

Hard to rate this one for difficulty. If you're really hardy, you can hike up the 1500 m. from Whistler village (670 m elev) to the Peak (for that, I would rate the terrain as a 5). Most normal people will pay the $30 for the Gondola from the village to the Roundhouse Lodge (@1850 m), and then take the Peak Chair the last 310 m. to the summit (@2160 m), OR, you can hike up the Singing Pass trail, do the Musical Bumps and then head to the Peak chair or the Gondola, and get a free ride down. Either way, you're looking at approx 21 k, a good hike.

Once you get to the Flute Summit, you should find the cache easily. It's a small camoed lock & lock, hidden under a rock (see photo). A special treat for FTF: a 1982 Canadian Constitution silver dollar (not a Loonie, but a real silver dollar, the way they used to mint them before the Loonie came along), and an Olympic pin.

Note that this hike is NOT A WALK IN THE PARK. Wear good hiking boots, bring water and food, wear good SUNSCREEN as there are very few shaded areas.

Not available in winter due to the snow. Probably limited to July to October. On the other hand, there is camping at Russet Lake, approx 5 km east, tenting or in the hut. At Russet Lake, you can also use the outhouse with the greatest view in the world (if you don't know what I mean, go see for yourself).
