You will be looking for a small "plastic jar type" container, located near the parking area of the boat launch of Kailua Beach. It's small but large enough for small trade items and small travel bugs. Please be careful-many muggles around to spoil the fun.
We live in Kailua and use this beach to exercise our greyhound, Precious. It's been rated as #1 beach in the USA. Precious loves the beach but loves making sure that people walking the beach love her more. She lives up to her name. The beach, speaks for itself. We chose this location for our first geocache hide because we come to the beach at least once a week. It's hard to stay away.
The bay to the right of the boat launch is a treasure trove of sea glass! Shells on the beach and in this area are not prevelant but the glass abounds.
Another reason we chose this site for our first hide was because our first find was Alala Point Cache (Oahu) (GCNRBM).
