Geocache Description:

Easy Terrain, somewhat easy find, or so I originally thought! I've upped the difficulty to a 3 on this one since a few have failed to locate it. It's there . . . promise . . . I check it regularly. I last looked in October 2011. It really is STILL there!

This is a small by Geocache definition (actually a very large pill container)cache located near the old bridge in Alderson. An interesting historical marker about the town of Alderson is also nearby. The bridge itself is a source of great pride among the citizens of Alderson. It was fully restored in 2006. Originally the bridge was to be a standard metal truss structure, but the citizens of the town decided that was unbecoming for such a beautiful location and raised a large local bond to build the beautiful concrete arched bridge you now see.

There is, of course, a log book and pencil, but it also has alot of different kinds of rocks, including 2 pieces of lava rock, a rockford Illinois fossil, a sea urchin fossil, a stalagtie, 1 piece of quartz, an amethyst point, and one glass crystal. Please try to leave something that keeps with the theme, if possible!

And, beware of muggles . . .
