The camel's back Traditional Cache
Firefighter001: I went to check on the cache today after it was reported missing. The last geocacher had placed the log book in the right place. This is the second or third time I've replaced the cache so the @#$%^& muggles know it's here and are probably waiting for me to place another one so they can throw it away again. For this reason, I'm archiving the listing. Thanks to everyone who found it and took care of it.

To get here, enter the campground gates and park at the campground's community building there. You can start by following the trail system to find the coordinates to a visual cache of the St John river on the edge of the Grand Falls gorge.(coordinates N47 02.685 W067 43.934) The “camel’s back” as it is called, is a large rock formation that juts out in the middle of the river.
Some may find the physical cache difficult to reach because of the steep climb. If this is the case, the cache may be reached easily from the road above. Going behind the Golden Age Club will access this road. Just return to the entrance gate and take a left beside the Golden Age Club building.
Don't cheat yourself out of a fantastic view by taking the easy way to the cache, go see the gorgeous view points along the trails.
I recommend you follow the trail system along the gorge until you reach the falls. There are 2 tourist information centers not far from there called "La Rochelle", and the other is close to the falls called "The Malabeam Center". If you want to experience and enjoy the beauty and wonder of our natural environment, then take a stoll down this path. You will see one of Mother Nature’s greatest forces (The force of water) at work. I guarantee you will not be disappointed. Be advised, there is a nominal fee at La Rochelle to walk down into the gorge. Trust me, It's worth it!
Please note, the trail system is very kid friendly, but climbing up to the cache might better be left up to the adults. There is a degree of danger involved.
