Geocache Description:

This cache is being placed by the State Forest Staff, it is located on a tract of land that is known as, "The Birthplace of Forestry in Maryland."

This is a multiple cache that will take you on foot approx. 2 miles round trip over very gentle terrain. This cache is located in a portion of the State Forest that serves as a handicapped hunter accessible area, during the hunting season hunter orange is recommended. No vehicles permitted beyond the yellow gate without the “handicapped hunter access permit” though all foot traffic is welcome. Please be respectful and courteous to hunters using this area. The “handicapped hunter access permit” allow hunters with special needs to hunt from their vehicles. During the hunting season it is recommended that this cache be visited on Sundays. The first three containers are micro in size, and the final is med - large. The cacher will receive additional coordinates, or directions at each of the micro caches. The final cache contains some Smokey Bear items, and some wooden nickels. A log book and short description also will be included.
