Geocache Description:

The first Official Lancaster County Conservancy Geocache, Located in the heart of the 193-acre Trout Run Nature Preserve.

Approach the Cache from either Pennsy Road or Stump Road, look for the Conservancy parking areas on both roads. The Stump Road access may be less difficult but it is more scenic from Pennsy Road. To access Trout Run Nature Preserve from Stump Road, park in The Conservancy lot then cross the road and head down hill along Stump Road about 200’ look on the right for our new trail head starting from an overgrown dirt road with a cable across it, the trail is marked with yellow blazes. The Cache box is a black 50 cal ammo box.

Warning! This preserve is open to hunting. Make sure to wear brightly colored clothing and make sufficient noise to warn hunters of your presence. Sundays are closed to most hunting activities and therefore the best days to hunt for the geocache.
