Geocache Description:

East Green farm had stood in the Shenleys since the 16th century. Surrounded by it's own orchards it was an isolated farm in it's rural setting. I remember going to village fetes, held there. Shenley Lodge developed around it and in 1995 the farm was re-developed into the Old Beams pub. A fire gutted the place in 2005 and re-construction has taken 2 years. A major hold up was the discovery of 25 Great Crested newts in the area. It is illegal to catch, possess or handle them. The brewery had to pay £25,000 for measures to protect the newts. The pub is now open again for business.

This cache is not based on the pub but in the area surrounding it.

You are looking for a camouflaged 35mm film canister.

The above co-ordinates are for the first WP. You will need to get some information to locate the cache.

The sub station has a phone number on it 0"A"00 "BCD" "E"55.

There is also a reference number "F"1D6066.

The final is at N52 00.(E+F)CC W000 46.ABE

You will have to determine the best parking and approach for yourselves. When placing the cache I used the orchard. The pub car park is signed for patrons only & clamping is a deterrent!
