Geocache Description:

Use Geoscouting to Promote Scouting
Located near a arena where the seats were made and installed as an Eagle project by a Scout of troop 12 in Oconomowoc. Cache name modified Dec 25, 2010 to reflect the name of the series as used in the Boy Scout Geocaching Merit Badge.

Second Class is one of the stepping stones on the trail to the Eagle rank in the BSA. By this time the scout has been in the troop about 6 months and has become very competent as a Scout. There is still a long way to go before becoming an Eagle. These seats are just one example of the many projects directed by the Scouts seeking the Eagle Rank. This cache is just a short walk from parking and is a scenic overlook of Ottawa Lake. The Geocache Notification Form has been submitted to the Southern Section of the Kettle Morraine Forest. Geocaches placed on Wisconsin Department of Natural Resource managed lands require permission by means of a notification form. Please print out a paper copy of the notification form, fill in all required information, then submit it to the land manager.
