The staff at Callaway Gardens would like to invite you to join
them in a fun filled day of fall festivities, caching and fun…
The Chattahoochee Valley Cachers and the Georgia Geocachers
Association will host a geocaching information table at the
Discovery Center from 10 am until 2 pm introducing geocaching to
park quests. Admission to the park is free for those who work a
shift at the table. If you would like to volunteer please contact
me, TGBear, at tgbear14@aol.com. All cachers are encouraged to stop
by the table and sign the log book.
A meet and greet with the Callaway Gardens staff will be held
from 2:30 until 3:30 at the Discovery Center. We will review the
general guide lines for hiding caches in the Gardens. Snacks and
drinks will be provided. We will also hold a raffle. As always, all
donations are welcome and appreciated.
There is an admission fee for the park, $13.91/adult and
$6.98/child. If you have a park pass or corporate card those can be
used.
Callaway Gardens is celebrating Fall! Come enjoy the various
fall festival activities going on around the Gardens. There will be
new caches for you to find. You may even want to get together with
fellow cachers and plan a picnic. Click on the link to see the

This is also a great opportunity for new cachers to meet some
the Columbus & Phenix City cachers, the Chattahoochee Valley
Cachers along with the state group, the Georgia Geocacher’s
Association.
