About 10 mins drive from Ohakune, drive along a well maintained flat gravel road.
Cache is located near the first of two lakes five mins walk from car (first part is uphill but we saw small children on the track and they seemed to be managing just fine). It's definitely worth the additional 8 mins walk to the next lake.
