A small camo'd cache, just slightly larger than a 35mm film canister, and actually visible from the trail ... if approaching from the right direction and you know where to look!
This location marks an intermediate point in the lower section of the PG&E trail in Rancho San Antonio. Just down from the lower section's "peak", and a very easy find. For the FTF, there's a Prime Meridian lapel pin, something I brought back last month from the Royal Observatory, Greenwich. I've also packed in a trackable Hawaii micro pin which, hopefully, will actually do some traveling! In reality, there's really not much room here for anything other than a log.
Oh, and please bring your own pen!
I've been walking around Rancho San Antonio for many years, and find that there's always something new to see. The combination of Park and Preserve makes Rancho San Antonio a great place to explore. Something for everybody!
