This cache may require special equipment, which is to say that
you might want to have ... (pregnant pause) ... a cat. It can be
your cat or your friend's cat. Either will do. It's not mandatory,
but if you don't comply, your standing as a fun-loving human being
may be in jeopardy.
"A cat?" you ask.
Yes, a cat. When you log this cache, you are requested to post a
cute or funny picture of a cat or alternately, tell a cute or funny
story about a cat. No internet pictures allowed! Please use only a
cat of your personal acquaintance (however far removed).
"But why a cat?" you ask again.
I reply, "Because there are abundant dog caches out there, and
you hardly ever see a cat cache. The yin is out of harmony with the
yang, or something. A dreadful state of affairs, this. To restore
balance to the Universe, cats must have caches of their own."
And of course this is a themed cache. Please try to remember to
carry kitty toys for exchange, and you can bring the dog to help
you look for it, if you'd like. In the meantime, you may rest
assured that the cat is doing her part, and that your chair seat
will have been kept warm for you when you return home from the
hunt.
