This cache is hidden at Axehead Falls on Vameys brook in Pictou County, close to the community of Bailey's Brook.
From Knoydart, take New road and turn right at it's conclusion, take the road to the left just before the first bridge (over Vameys brook), drive to N45 50.933 W062 14.257, park anywhere and head into the woods to the right, the first section of the path is overgrown and almost non existent, it becomes clearer at N45 40.829 W062 14.213, follow the path as far as possible and head down to the brook once it disappears, continue upstream to a waterfall and a large cilff, there is a rope to assist in climbing over the waterfall, keep on for a short distance to a slightly bigger waterfall, and a much bigger cliff, the cache is up the cliff at a rock shaped like an axehead.
