Sunday evening Meet-N-Eat-N-Greet for cachers
It's Sunday night. Caching is over for the weekend. We're aching for someone to share our caching adventures with. Our co-workers get tired of our Monday Morning Caching Bragging sessions.
So who better to share with than a group of cachers!!! MandolinGirl and I decided there'd be no better way to spend a Sunday evening than gathered around tables of Pizza with other cachers!
We'll meet at the W 10th Street Noble Roman's at 6 PM for supper and get to know each other.
The bonus!! The Colts have a late game that day, so we could watch the last half together!
We thought this would be a good way for those of us living on the West Side, Speedway, Avon, and Danville to get together. We hope folks will consider coming from other parts of town, also!
Let us know if you'll be coming. If there are enough folks coming, I'll reserve the family room just for us, if only a few, we'll just pull some tables together.
This is an all ages event! PLEASE bring your kids along! You never know....TheDulcimerGuy and MandolinGirl may have some musical treats for them. :)
**UPDATE** We are fine tuning this event just a bit. We're asking those participating to bring a small item, related to Geocaching. The rest is left to your imagination. We are asking that you spend no more than $2.00 on an item, or, better yet, it be something from your caching bag or kit. Please wrap it in newspaper or something similar so we can't see what it is. And we're going to do a variation on the old White Elephant Gift exchange.
And, please bring your Calendars. We think perhaps a West Indy Cachers Holiday Get Together should be planned. :) We'll talk about that at this event.
