Geocache Description:

This cache is NOT for the faint of heart, or for those that fear heights!!! If the wind is blowing, this cache will MOVE YOU!!!. DON"T FORGET TO BRING YOUR PEN!!!

It is that magical time of year that there are bounties from the earth for all of us to share. Be it fruit, vegies from a backyard garden, or extra firewood left over from camping season, We at Team Geogold believe in sharing. For those of you that remember last December, we had a dilly of a wind storm go through that knocked down a lot of trees. Team Geogold found a couple that had a couple dozen trees go down in thier yard but couldn't afford a tree service, so we cut down the dangerous ones for them for free. But now we had several cords of good firewood that we didn't need, we don't have a fireplace. So we used as much as we could for camping this year, and decided to give the rest to a needy family in Grande Ronde for heating their home this winter. Well as we were taking the first load over there Geogold spotted what he thought was a "perfect" spot for a cache,Hmmmmmm, O.K.. So we finished our first load and went back to the valley for another load and to grab a couple caches to place on the way home. On the way back from Grande Ronde the second time, Geogold struck!!! He let us in on the "perfect place". WOO HOO is that a big one LOL. Because Geogold was sick, Geogold Jr took the cache to it's placement while Cacherider took pictures from below. Meanwhile Geogold is telling Jr," HIGHER!!!" LOL. This platform is very stable, but when you get up to the cache, you tend to sway with the earth. This cache is visable from below and you WILL be seen by muggles while doing it, but they will just pass you by thinking you are totally nuts. For those of you that are under 5'8" in heigth, you might need a boost for the first 4 feet or so, the rest of you just need to make a little jump.I like these types of caches as well as caches placed by the likes of Pablo Mac. They are safe as long as you pay attention, and if you don't feel safe doing it, then don't, but don't blast them in the logs or forums. Like the many types of cachers out there, there are many types of caches, the ones like these just make up a small portion. And allways look at the terrain difficulty to somewhat let you know what you are in for. The number one thing that makes a cache a cache is the log, we are required to have one to make it a cache, so if you don't sign it, then don't log it as a find. Team Geogold WILL be going and checking on the logs on this cache, and if your signature in not on the log, then your log WILL be deleted. Just seeing the cache from the ground is NOT finding it. Lets be fair to the cachers that DO find it as intended. Now don't let all the words before scare you away from doing this cache, they are just there to warn you for what you MIGHT be in for. I made this cache Kensquach proof, so no standing on your tippy toes and grabbing it here Oh Tall one LOL. This cache was placed by a member of S.A.G.A. PLEASE be safe, and have fun.
