Take the maintenance road south from Hwy. 44 past the Old Station Fire Station.
You can drive close to the cache but it is also an easy walk from the dirt road.
Container is camouflaged and hidden under something that is slightly out of place. Being a RC heli pilot and after I saw this area I knew this was a perfect location to hide my first cache. There is room for small trade items as the container has a small screw on lid. Cache appears to be on the edge of a lava flow. Snow will make this a challenge to access in the winter as the altitude is about 4300 feet.
