An awesome cache that features a 25 minute hike and a great waterfall.

The cache replaces one in the same location that was archived after it went missing. It is was also my very first Geocache find and still one of my favorite locations I have ever cached; period. I replaced it so others can get to experience this really awesome location. Park at the coordinates listed at the bottom which is a small gravel pulloff to begin your hike.
It is possible to get the cache without getting wet but if you prefer you can wade up river. If you choose the drier route it is possible to find a small trail right off of the parking area. It begins as a well marked red/white trail but as you hike degenerates to little more than a footpath. It will be difficult to follow at times however offers some great views of the river. It will be necessary to hike around the waterfall using the footpath at one point. The trail can be dangerous at time as there is a steep drop to one side and a few dangerous small gap crossings. I would advise no children (unless they are use to this sort of hike) and no bikes. See pictures for a better idea.
When you get to the location, by which ever method you choose, finding the cache can be difficult due to bad GPS reception in the rift. So use the following guidelines when searching.
1. Stand on a rock and wait to get a better track.
2. The cache is hidden on the EAST side of the river; the side you parked on so you don't need to cross the river.
3. Read the hint for a little better idea of where to look.
