Flat land, Easy walk but it is quite a stroll... unless if you are coming from the cemetary near where the cache is, then you will have to go down an embankment that might pose a hazard for slipping and falling. Be careful!
To start, park in the Stamford Elementary School parking lot near the library (to the left of the school building...near a dumpster). If you are going on a school day, walk along the edge of the playground (people do this often, usually with their dogs), but otherwise you can just cut right across the land. Feel free to CITO since these kids appear to enjoy leaving their snack wrappers on the ground!
I hope you enjoy the walk, as to get to the destination, you go by the river and a lot of pine trees that kind of remind me of the inside of the Notre Dame Cathedral. This is NOT private property, as the cache is located between school grounds and cemetary. I used to go to this area all the time when I was a kid.
