This plaque has been removed and I am researching it with the Mountain View Historical Society to try to finally find out who it was, and to try to notify the family that it was removed. In the meantime, I am including a photo of the plaque both to memorialize it and to allow people to find the cache! Here is the plaque, use it to make the calculations to find the cache.

I shop at Costco pretty often, and one day I noticed this plaque right out in front. Who is this person, and why does he have a plaque in front of Costco? I don't know the answers, but I can at least get you to wonder about it, too. Find the plaque at the posted coordinates.
A = the number of letters in the 1st word of the 1st line
B = the first number on the last line
C = the number of letters in the largest-print word
D = the number of letters in the 2nd word of the 1st line
E = the number of letters in the 1st month - the number of letters in the second month
F = the last number on the last line.
The cache is hidden nearby at N37 25.ABC, W122 05.DEF. It is a magnetic key case. Stealth is required. No lifting required!
