Geocache Description:

A CITO event at Alderman's Ford Preserve hosted by F.G.A with assistance from Hillsborough County Parks and Preserves. Come join your fellow cachers around 9 am for some exciting times in trash removal.

Aldermans is located on the beautiful Alafia River. There are no facilities here other than parking and trails. The trails are newly mowed, and inviting. I invite you to come pick up some trash. Bring your gloves, water, and long pants might be a good idea for getting those bottles tossed off the trail. DEET!!!! Day packs for carrying trash longer distances along the trail might be good.

I walked the riverfront, there's plenty of stuff for us to carry out. Looks like someone arrived dressed and left naked from the amount of clothing along the trail =;o). Beer seems to be a popular item too. Hmm, beer.

There are restrooms and water at Hillsborough County Aldermans Park further south, and plenty of caches in all directions.

Please note, if anybody gets ambitious to place new hides here, that caches in Hillsborough County Preserves need to be cleared with staff. Take a look at palmetto's profile for that contact info. Psst, I hear there's some brand new trail on the north end. Dogs on 6 foot leashes only.
