An offset multi with 2L container hidden in a hole under a pretty big rock.
First up, some conditions.
Access road is not recommended for caravans and there is a turn-around at the beginning of the road if you'd like to unhitch.
A BBQ is available at the lookout but bins are not, so you will need to take your trash with you.
The lookout is wheelchair accessible but GZ is not.
Even though the land for the lookout was donated to the shire there is a 'Private Property' sign at the gate, so the cache is hidden outside the property boundary.
The Wheatbelt Lookout was constructed on Mt O’Brien as a Centenary of Federation project that captures the history of grain development within the Wongan-Ballidu Shire.
From its majestic height atop Mt O’Brien, visitors to the lookout will see the vast farming lands and the various colours associated with this area - the green of grain crops, the golden canola and the grey of lupins as well the lakes which have historical significance from the pioneering days and the townsite of Wongan Hills.
