A short walk along a riverbank footpath and up into a wooded area.
Ive placed this cache along one of my favourite walks.
You start at the Lockkeeper, Keynsham where the is ample parking most of the time and walk along the riverside path which goes under the main A road towards Hanham Abbots. The footpath gives you good views of Cadburys Chocolate factory and if your lucky they will be pumping out a lovely aroma of vanilla or Chocolate Orange. When you hit the small bridge take the footpath that goes under the electricity pylon and go up into the wood. There are lots of views in the area just before you step into the wood.
GPS cover in woods can be a bit sketchy at some times of the year so Ive left a substantial hint.
Alternative parking is available in Keynshams public carparks for a modest fee (except Sundays!) or the nearby railway station or the nearby BMX park.
