The Highlands Spring Fling 08 Event Cache

Welcome to the The Highlands Spring Fling annual event. This years event is going to be bigger & better than ever!

This years event is going to be bigger and better than ever, even though it has a new name. We are going to have a poker-run again this year.The event will be in the conference room on the 2nd floor of the Cabela's retail store. The conference room is on the left side of the restaurant. Keep an eye out here for more details. Hope to see you all there!!

The poker-run is going to be a lot less confusing than last year! This years run is not going to be a test of speed, but just going out to have some find finding caches! This is how we are going to do it this year. There is NO NEED to show up at a certain time to do the poker-run. When you get to the 1st cache, there will be a hole-punch with a specific shape. You must punch your paper with this punch! There will be 8 caches to find, each with a different shaped punch in it. When you return to the store, turn in your paper at the registration desk. You will be given a ticket. The poker-run will end exactly at 2:45 pm. A winner will be drawn at the end of the run to see who is the winner. All giveaways and door prizes will start at 3:00pm.

We will also be playing Geo-Bingo. When you sign the logbook, they person at the registration desk will give you a packet containing some goodies and a Geo-Bingo card. The purpose of this game is to mingle with the other cachers and meet some new friends!
