Geocache Description:

Seven Acres Country Park is sandwiched between the communities of Tonge and Breightmet and dissected by Bradshaw Brook. Thicketford Road borders the northern end of Seven Acres whereas Bury Road marks the extent of the southern end of the site.

In 2004 East Bolton Regeneration Partnership chose the site to be one of the flagship projects at the heart of its' Environmental Strategy for the area. The key objectives of the Seven Acres project are to:

Improve access routes so that it is easier and safer for local people to use.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Encourage local people to use and value the park as a local resource.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Produce a long-term management plan to improve the potential of the site for wildlife.
