A Geocaching Tour of Carmel-by-the-Sea, CA

This series is designed to offer a variety of geocaching challenges ranging from level one to level three. Some of the caches will be a quick and easy grab. The rest are located in a busy urban area and may require stealth techniques, a high level of patience, advance planning, or return visits.

This cache is located on the ultimate white sand beach, in the ultimate cache 'n picnic spot. Gently rolling pristine white sand dunes are dotted with private wind free sand hollows. Located on the bluffs above the beach, this area offers wide open ocean vistas and the perfect view of world famous Pebble Beach resort.

The dune area can be a tough muggle zone during the summer as it is often frequented with picnickers. The rest of the year you may encounter a muggle here or there but it isn't too bad.

The cache is crammed full of goodies for cachers of all ages. Bring the kids, bring the dog. This is one of the last leash free beaches in California.
