Meet at the picnic area at 9:30 AM for coffee, cider and donuts. In case of light rain, there is a covered pavilion. Heavy rain, or alot of snow will cancel it. Pavilion coordinates are N42 05.449 W72 40.306. There are 28 caches within 3 miles with 6 new ones to be listed on the day of the event. There will be a raffle at 11:00. At 11:30 we will head out to the parking areas for the geohike. For those who are interested, I can lead a geohike, (new word I got from NEOC1), on the M + M trail, either heading south from route 187 on the Westfield/Agawam line or north from route 57 in Southwick. Its 3 miles by gps from the parking areas. By parking cars at both parking areas will can do a thru hike. There are 7 caches now along the way and I will hide more for the event, (12 total). The caches will be from 1.5 to 3.5 on difficulty levels. This will give newer cachers a chance to experience the different types of hides. For those early risers and First To Find fanatics the 6 new cache coordinates will be available by 6:00 AM at N42 06.300 W72 41.690 on the day of the event, 11/11. I will also be doing a pre event geohike on Wed. 11/7 at 11:00 AM to check on all the caches along the M and M trail.
