Geocache Description:

The devil makes work for idle hands (that's my story anyway!). This cache continues the series of easy cache and dashes which are available within driving or walking distance of my place of work, that I have set whist bored as my usual walking and caching chum, Giav, has been off on his travels.

The Chearsley Road which passes underneath the railway embankment is a spot we pass twice a day. It features in our daily conversation in bad weather. Despite drainage works, it floods when it rains and the hill is quite entertaining when it's frosty, as the council don't bother to grit it. Approaching The Sump, we decide whether it is passable or not by how many bricks up the bridge are covered by the floodwaters.

This is a simple cache which should not cause you any trouble at all, hence no additional clue is given. There is space on a muddy and rutted layby nearby to stop your car. Please take care on the road and try not to get run over... if they close the road, it's a boring diversion through Long Crendon for us to get home!!!
