Wonderful view towards the sea
This cache is situated on top of a rarely visited “mountain” in western Gothenburg. Some years ago the hill was home to homing pigeons. The view from the top, of the sea and the islands, is well worth the effort.
The reason for this place not being frequently visited could be due to the fact that it is almost enclosed by private property, so use these coordinates as a waypoint to enter the woods N 57 40 297 E 011 53 907 (end of Kaktusvägen). Using the paths snaking up the hill could be a wise move.
The cache is a standard plastic container.
Cachen ligger på toppen av ett relativt okänt berg i västra Göteborg. Tidigare fanns ett par duvslag på berget. Utsikten från toppen mot södra skärgården är väl värd promenaden.
Att komma in i skogen kan vara lite besvärligt, gå gärna in vid N 57 40 297 E 011 53 907 som ligger på slutet av Kaktusvägen. Använd gärna stigarna, fågelvägen är rätt omständlig.
Cachen är en standard plastlåda.
