The land on which you will walk is mostly owned by the Right
Honourable Lord Michael Heseltine and even though he has moved on
from front line politics, there are still many times that the
security signs around his home are very genuine with a police
patrol and dogs within the grounds. You are advised therefore to
walk past along the footpaths, where you are entitled to be,
without raising the profile of caching in lets say less than
desriable ways....
Please be aware that the owners here are jealous of their
position in the countryside and will try no doubt be watching in
one way or another. Follow the track down past the the land owners
home, noting the fablulous walled garden or arboretum on your
right. Enjoy the walk and try not to get arrested on the way :)
