This cache is located a short distance from where the Tamanous trail meets up with the PCT.
At about 3/4 of a mile, this is an enjoyable hike if you need a quick stretch of the legs when you are traveling SR 14. Parking is located on the north side of SR14 offering a spectacular view of Bonneville Dam. Cache is a well cammoflouged lock'n'lock. Large enough for small swag and travellers. There are restrooms and picnic benches at the trailhead. A Northwest Forest Pass is required. They can be purchased at Main Street Convenience Store, 10 miles east of Tamanous trailhead in Stevenson.
