Geocache Description:

Several miles of the road to this cache is filled with pot holes so plan on a bumpy ride. Even so this road is a good road and the rocks are well packed in and round so no worries of sharp loose rocks. Any vehicle should be able to make this trip if driven carefully.

The Fish Lake Lookout Tower is one of the few towers not high on a mountain top. It was Built in 1934 near the valley floor, this 40' pole L-4 tower was destroyed in 1948.

This is the second fire tower lookout site in this area. The first was built in a avalanche zone and only lasted a year. It took me two trys to locate the remains of this tower. The old road to the tower is easily passed by so I have added the parking coords. After parking cross the road to find the the old road remains and walk a quarter of a mile to cache. Cache is hidden close to remains of tower.
