Cache is hidden at a favorite spot - the Maple Leaf Pea Patch. Coordinates listed are not for cache location but for the garden shed at the location.
This is our first cache and placed at a location where you can see a great kinetic sculpture created by our friend, Andrew Carson.
The coordinates are for the garden building at the Pea Patch and NOT for the cache. You will need to do some looking around at the pea patch to answer the following questions. Answering the questions should give you what you need to do the math and find the cache.
a = how many of these pieces of art depict the 200 year history of the area
b = # flowers found near "a" (not on a)
c = # of milk jugs used
d = when Rudy & Marge got it
e = # of glass pieces included in Andrew Carson's kinetic sculpture at waypoint (see picture in gallery)
f = age of author "Nature does nothing uselessly"
X = c-a-(e*38)-11
Y = d-(b*f)-504
Final at N 47 42.X and W 122.19.Y
Please re-hide carefully and watch for muggles.
Note: No need to play in the rocks
Congratulations to aviatrix22 & Lutehawk for being the FTF of my first cache hide and grabbing the famous FTF Bell.
12/15/07 - updated with a hint for "c" and clarified b as "not" including the flowers on a.
