This is our first cache! The location was found by
t-tribe and the
DelaCombos one fall morning while searching for some nearby
Benchmarks...three to be exact. So besides the absolutely wonderful
view this could be a 4-fer. The hike from the parking coords. is
about .86 miles. The first .75 miles is an old jeep trail that is a
nice easy hike. At this point you can choose your own route or head
toward the summit near the animal trail coords. listed below. Of
course, we found this on the way down. As I mentioned above there
are 3 benchmarks on the summit all found to be in great condition.
Bring your CAMERA! I have no doubt that you will want to take some
photos. The cache is an Ammo Can. The original contents are: $5.00
for the FTF, Hand Warmers, First Aid Kit, Umbrella, 2 Ponchos,
Water Snake, Flashlight w/batteries, Motorcycle,Unite for Diabetes
TB, Mossy Oak license plate rings, and a geocahing pencil
