Geocache Description:

An easy walk along a bluff above the river.

We are back from our yearly visit to Canada and we needed a place for a lot of the goodies we brought back with us. Hence the C.A.T.A. - Canadian American Trading Association. The cache is located on the bluff just south of Highway 14 and just east of where the road crosses Major Creek. There is a guard rail along the road as it goes over Major Creek and you can pull off the road just east of the guard rail. There is a bit more room along the road on the east bound side. There is an old road that heads up on top of the bluff right at the end of the guard rail. Follow it up and around to the east. If you head out towards the river there is several clumps of poison oak but none of it up above the road where the cache is. There are some nice views along the river and out to Memaloose Island. The cache is in a medium sized lock and lock with some nice goodies in it. Be careful with kids and dogs. There is poison oak towards the river and bluffs down to the road and down to the railroad tracks by the river.
