PANORAMA
Required: Four-Track or reasonably capable Jeep or 4X4. Existing “roads” except last 100 or so yards. Climbing not required.
1) Starting Point is a place known locally as the junction.
There are several routes to get to this point which is:
37° 2.158’N, 111° 42.564’W. Take the fork to the East.
2) Road fork at 37° 2.080'N, 111° 42.314'W continue south.
3) Continue past the water tank at 37° 1.766'N, 111° 42.344'W heading East South-East.
4) Keep going South- East past the fork at 37° 1.132'N, 111° 41.252'W.
5) Continue to radio towers at 37° 0.598'N, 111° 40.881'W.
6) Head South-West on main “road” to wooden pole power line road at 37° 0.210'N, 111° 41.037'W which turns East South-East.
7) Continue generally South at the road fork at 37° 0.030'N, 111° 40.731'W.
8) Find metal power line tower #194 at 36° 59.902'N, 111° 40.492'W.
9) Just east of this turn north at fork at 36° 59.910'N, 111° 40.476'W.
10) Down the hill (moderate difficulty) to the fork at 37° 0.001'N, 111° 40.452'W and bear to the North-East.
11) Continue on main “road” at fork at 36° 59.985'N, 111° 40.080'W heading South- East.
12) At fork, 36° 59.795'N, 111° 39.846'W, turn East.
13) 36° 59.754'N, 111° 39.728'W. Good place to park, or continue up moderately difficult hill to:
14) Limit for vehicles at 36° 59.770'N, 111° 39.691'W. Walk from here. Watch your step, ground and rocks are unstable.
15) Cache located at 36° 59.831'N, 111° 39.619'W.
