Geocache Description:

One car unofficial pullout at N43 3.702 W70 49.749 just before guardrail .9 miles onto Newington Rd by Portsmouth Country Club. Cross road to trail entrance on other side of opposite guardrail. Beautiful view of salt marshes and Great Bay. One spot through marsh has boards to cross over. Might be a bit wet depending on season. Otherwise easy trail.

Cache is in a small plastic container with a blue lid. It contains (in addition to the normal notebook and writing implements) a "tree" hole punch. The punch is used in conjunction with the "Passport to Great Bay" pages. The Passport is a booklet featuring a number of public lands ready for exploration! There is a cache hidden on each of these lands around the Great Bay. The Great Bay National Estuarine Research Reserve put the Passport booklet together. If you are interested in picking up a free copy, visit the Great Bay Discovery Center in Greenland, NH or call (603)778-0015 or go to www.greatbay.org for more info.
