Sunday , Nov. 18th, 2007 at 11:00 am for lunch. The Waymarking workshop will begin promptly at 1:00 pm. The listed coords will take you to the carousel in the park, the picnic area is nearby and the Library is nearby as well. Bring a picnic lunch for you and your family for lunch. The library has wireless access for those equipped for use during the workshop.
Come spend a quiet afternoon in the park with The Federation. We will be meeting at the playground for a picnic lunch and other activities followed by a workshop on the ever growing sport of Waymarking. For the unitiated, Waymarking is basically Geocaching without the containers. At (visit link) many categories can be found from the silly, to the unusual to the scary, to the historical and all points in between. For those who are familiar with locationless caches Waymarking is the replacement for those caches. Waymarking continues to grow and the site has recieved many enhancements since it's inception. The workshop will detail some of the newer enhancements, software that is available to Waymarkers and we will be discussing how to get others more involved with Waymarking in the community.
There is a nearby Kiddie Park available along with a carousel. Please stop by and have lunch and consider coming to the workshop to learn more about this new and growing sport. For more infoprmation please contact The Federation
