Not quite as big as the one at Manchester but still an airport never the less.
Originally built as an aerodrome for the Royal Air Force in 1939, the airport now provides a thriving base for a number of general aviation operators and maintenance providers including: aircraft and helicopter flying schools, a sports aircraft manufacturer, police helicopter unit and several private aircraft operators. There is parking close to the cache please do not park on the road.
